About Calvary Academy

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

Equipping the Next Generation for Christ

Calvary Academy is a Christ-centered, Pastor-led school set to open in 2026 as an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Morgantown. Born out of a long-standing vision to provide a biblical, five-day-a-week educational environment in Morgantown, Calvary Academy exists to partner with families in the God-given mission of discipling children.

With a strong emphasis on early spiritual formation, Calvary Academy lays a foundation of biblical truth and worldview that will anchor students for life. Starting with Kindergarten through 3rd grade, Calvary Academy is dedicated to shaping the next generation into thoughtful, faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

A Letter from Our Head of School

Guiding Young Hearts Toward Jesus

Welcome to Calvary Academy — a place where your child’s heart and mind are nurtured with intention, purpose, and truth. It is my joy and honor to invite you into a school community that is rooted in Scripture and wholly devoted to partnering with parents in the discipleship of their children.

We believe education is not just about academics, but about shaping the whole child. That is why we focus not only on providing a strong academic foundation, but also on forming Christlike character, biblical discernment, and a love for learning that flows from knowing God.

At Calvary, we see parents as the primary educators, a role God has divinely entrusted to you, and our mission is to support and walk with you as you raise children who know, love, and follow Jesus. In our classrooms, children are known by name, encouraged in their faith, and challenged to grow in wisdom and grace.

Whether you are exploring Christian education for the first time or seeking a deeper, more intentional learning environment, we welcome you to discover how Calvary Academy can come alongside your family in this high calling.

We would love to meet you, answer your questions, and give you a glimpse of the joy, purpose, and peace that define our school community.

In His love,

Ivy Wille

Official School Statements

Calvary Academy believes that an individual's first responsibility is to the God of the bible and that a person's whole life should reflect His framework in a context of peace and selfless love. Calvary Academy’s standard for diversity is found in the bible. Individual differences in lifestyle that deny, ignore or reject biblical standards represent diversity in rebellion to God's standards and are unacceptable for the families of Calvary Academy. Calvary Academy affirms that marriage, as defined by God, is the sacred union of one man and one woman, and that from the beginning of creation, God created humanity as male and female, distinct and complimentary.

It is the commitment of Calvary Academy to provide Christian education by and for God's elect, holy and beloved according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth that is after godliness, and in that context for the purpose does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex and ethnic background. This policy is exercised during student admission, hiring of faculty and staff and all school-administered programs.

Calvary Academy is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Morgantown and has limited resources to educate its students. Due to our limited resources, Calvary Academy may be unable to properly educate students with non-academic special needs or severe learning disabilities. We reserve the right to deny admittance and attendance to students whom we feel we cannot offer a sound and complete education. This decision may be made at any point during the application, interview, or acceptance process, or during the school year based upon information received.

Discipling the next generation to think biblically, live faithfully, and lead boldly.

Litchfield Christian School has been such a beautiful blessing to our family. LCS is a Christ-centered school that challenges students academically, nurtures their creativity, promotes a positive learning environment, and contributes to their spiritual growth. LCS is very supportive, and they encourage their students and their families. Our daughter came into LCS completely broken and empty. Public school had taken a drastic toll on her mental health. She had pleaded with us for over a year to homeschool her. We were at a loss. Our daughter is a very social person, and we knew she needed more. We decided to check out LCS as an alternative. From the very moment we stepped inside LCS, we could see and feel the genuine love. EVERYONE felt as if they belonged. Before our day of observing was over, she had asked if she could please come to LCS. She was smiling and said this place is my kind of place. It's definitely been just that!

Today she is thriving, and she is truly enjoying herself. She loves to go to school, and she loves all of the teachers. She has made good friends and is blossoming in all areas of life. She's even started singing on stage during chapel. This has been the best decision we could have ever made as parents for our daughter. We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity in our hometown, and we truly appreciate that LCS offers grades K-12. How blessed we are to be a part of Litchfield Christian School. We look forward to many more amazing years here.
